Trail Conditions

Tuesday February 20th
After having very little snowfall since January we finally received a large dumping of snow Sunday (2/18) into Monday. Anywhere from 8-12 inches of snow fell along the North Shore. The report is that the trails are in great shape. For a more detailed trail report contact Hungry Jack Lodge or check out our facebook page at Cook County Snowmobile Club - Ridge Riders.

Friday February 23rd
During the night we received another 4-6 inches of snow. The groomers will be out grooming the lower and upper G-trail today. The state trail will be groomed today and tomorrow and more than likely the groomers will regroom the upper section tomorrow (2/24). There is more snow forecasted for Saturday night.

Monday February 26th
Current riding conditions are excellent, in the past two weeks we have received probably 30 inches of fresh snow. Saturday night presented us with another big dumping of snow anywhere from 8-12 inches depending where you are. The trails have been groomed and we have heard from many locals it's the best riding they have seen in a long time.

For your information we only maintain and groom the Gunflint snowmobile Trails, there are separate clubs that groom the Lutsen and Tofte Trails and the DNR grooms the North Shore state trail.
